Good afternoon! We've had a busy few days here at Springwood! I've enjoyed meeting and getting to know your children.
- I will be communicating a lot via email, text messages and the blog this year. Please check your email and respond to let me know that you've received it!
- To receive text updates send the message "@1415ly" to the number (669) 800-5928. This is a great way to get reminders about upcoming tests, field trips, due dates, etc.
- Thank you for filling out the beginning of the year forms and sending them in promptly. (They are due by Friday!)
- We started switching classes today. By Thursday we should be in a great learning routine and regular homework will begin soon!
- Please send in $5.00 by Friday to cover the cost of a year long subscription to Florida Studies Weekly.
- Mrs. Rodriguez and I will be working very hard to teach your child study and organizational skills. Please help us by checking your child's agenda book nightly. We want them to be responsible for their learning, but they're going to need to be taught these skills and your support is crucial.
- Next week we will begin timed multiplication tests. Students will start on the "2s" and move through the "12s" as they master each number. Today we made a set of flash cards for the "2s." Please quiz them!
